3rd Party Video Purchasing Policy
Occasionally, NCTS receives requests from  individuals to purchase a movie on their behalf. This is often because the movie is hard to find, or they do not want to or know how to purchase it elsewhere, such as online. This policy defines the conditions under which such purchases can be made.

Eligible Purchasers
We are happy to help you with this, provided that the conditions of the purchase meet the following criteria:
- The purchaser must be a current member of NCTS.
- The email address and phone number for the member must be up to date
- The purchaser must pay for:
* The film
* Applicable taxes
* Shipping costs
* Any additional costs that may arise to complete the transaction, and
* A per-film service fee. NCTS reserves the right to change this fee at any time.

All payments must be upfront.

Purchasing Process
Payment can be made in person at 225 Hall Street using cash, debit or credit.

Once NCTS has received payment in full, we will place the order. There are no cancellations permitted after the order has been placed.

Once the order arrives, a notification will be sent to the customer by email. The purchaser is expected to pick up their film within 7 days of notification. We will not mail orders from 225 Hall to other addresses.

NCTS will call the purchaser by phone one week after notification, if needed. There will be no further notices issued.

Order Abandonment
NCTS may charge additional fees if an order is not picked up within seven days of notice. Extenuating circumstances will be considered.

If a film is not picked up by the purchaser within 90 days of arrival, it becomes the property of NCTS. NCTS may add the film to the Reo’s Collection or sell it to another party.

NCTS may offer a tax receipt for the value of the film itself (not including additional charges on the order) if it is requested by December 31st of the calendar year in which the film was ordered. No tax receipts will be available after that.

Liability
Buyer beware: At the time of sale, the purchaser will agree to order a specific title from a specific seller. As such, NCTS holds no liability for the quality or accuracy of the film received.

NCTS will not offer feedback or negotiate with a given seller on behalf of a purchaser.
